You should go on a cruise to the Mediterranean islands in 2013. Why? You might ask. Well, the Mediterranean region has so much to offer culturally that it is almost sinful not to go. Italy and Greece are homes to two of the most celebrated empires in the world. In both countries you see the ruins of ancient civilizations past. Visitors can tour the temples where Greek and Roman Gods were worshipped. While in Greece, visitors can also take a ride in a gondola in the canal city of Venice.

Israel is of course sacred to Christians, Jews and Muslims. If you ever wanted to take a trip to the Holy Land, a cruise would be the way to go. Israel has much more to offer than just sacred sites. It also has beautiful scenery and top notch cuisine.


Northern Africa borders the Mediterranean Sea on the south side. There is Morocco and Egypt just to name a few.

Morocco is an exotic country that contains mountains, deserts and beaches. It is famous for the city Casablanca, the name of the iconic movie starring Humphrey Bogart. Morocco is full of whimsical sights such as the richly colored rugs and wandering nomads.

Egypt, home to the great pyramids is also along the route of the Mediterranean cruise. In Egypt one can not only visit the pyramids and the sphinx, you can also enjoy the Egyptian Museum and Egypt’s famous architecture.
