Travel Trout is currently accepting guest posts so come and write for us!
Below you will find all the information for you to review before you submit a guest post
Our blog was set up to cover a very wide range of travel topics, but we’d love to publish articles from guest bloggers who have a real talent to capture the essence of a travel destination, whether it be a city or a country, things you’ve done or food you’ve tried.
That doesn’t mean we accept all guest article submissions without ensuring their quality. To make sure that we only publish the type of articles we are aiming for, please keep in mind the following guidelines before you submit a blog post.

How to become a guest writer
Simple, fill out the form on this page, and we will get back to you as soon as possible! We’ll always aim to reply within a day or two and let you know about your article.
To get the highest benefits from your contribution to this blog, here are some tips!
We want our website visited, and your guest posts read by our audience. Bit pointless if not really isn’t it if nobody reads it? You’ll find it’s not hard for your articles to get organic rankings, and therefore more visible, with very little effort. Quite often the different between an article that gets no hits and one that gets a few hundred daily views, is just down to spending 5 or 10 minutes doing keyword research whilst writing the post, i.e. what are people searching for?
It’s just a matter of writing your article based on how people search. That doesn’t mean to suggest we want you stuffing your posts full of keywords, that would make it hard to read and probably do your rankings more harm than good!
Write for Readers not for Google.
What I’m saying is, with a little bit of keyword research you can find out roughly the type of things people are search for, and can help you phrase something in a slightly different way, but don’t start throwing every keyword search going in as often as possible, write in a way that is for the reader, naturally, and if something you’ve seen searched for will fit in naturally with your sentence, then great!
That’s good for everyone!
